Just a little fun

Tina and I took this picture, God only know, I think at Universal Studios. It was a lot of fun.

Alan Oppenheimer, Trek & Six Million

Here's a blast from the past! Alan Oppenheimer has been in He-Man, The Six Million Dollar Man, Smurfs, he's the voice of Mighty Mouse and more recently Star Trek: The Next Generation. This was a great success for me, as I watched him A LOT as a kid!

From Hologram to Cartoon, Wendy Schaal does it all

So, last week I got these cards back in. Wendy Schaal played the Doctor's holographic wife in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Real Life." And now, years later, she's playing the cartoon wife on Fox's "American Dad." Love that show!
Anyway, she signed both cards AND the cardboard insert for the envelope. Great lady!

Sharon Lawrence, no longer Blue

So, back in the day, I wrote to Sharon Lawrence when she was on NYPD Blue. She had just guest starred on Star Trek: Voyager as Amelia Earhart in the episode "The 37's." I was very surprised when I received my cards back, signed. Very cool addition to the collection.

Hagan Beggs is a pretty cool guy

Actor Hagan Beggs has played many different parts in his life. His acting career began with the appearances as Lt. Hansen in Star Trek: The Original Series. Later he appeared in small parts in several other television series, including Poltergeist: The LegacyMillennium and Seven Days. He also appeared in many movies, including the 1996 TV version of Titanic. (Thanks to memory-alpha.org )

I wrote to him, asking him to sign a few Star Trek: The Original Series Collectible Card Game cards, and was so surprised when I received this letter back.

And he signed my cards!
What a SUPER nice guy! Thanks, Hagan.
